Biorenewable Plastics Designed for the
Circular Economy
Our Mission
Our mission at Cyklos Materials is to create a future generation of plastics from biorenewable feedstocks that are infinitely recyclable with low carbon intensity and industry-leading efficiency. We work with brands to deliver sustainable circularity to their products in stride with premium performance for their customers.
Our Technology
We bring together innovations in synthetic biology, polymer chemistry, and informatics to create bio-based plastics that are infinitely recyclable. Cyklos' proprietary PDK materials offer a range of useful properties in elastomers, rubbers, and flexible foams. We engineer microbes to produce the molecular building blocks for our PDK materials, enhancing their performance relative to polyurethanes that remain difficult to recycle. At end of life, we recycle PDK products using a low-energy, low-carbon process to recover 100% of the biorenewable content for reuse in circular manufacturing.
